The Nifty is trading over 17250, close to the day's high. The Sensex rose 531.43 points, or 0.91 percent, to 57568.93, while the Nifty rose 148.85 points, or 0.87 percent, to 17285.4. Around 2254 shares have increased in value, 916 have decreased in value, and 125 have remained steady.
