Lalbaugcha Raja Immersion: Here's Why 'Bappa' Took 13 Hours To Say Goodbye To His Devotees

Traditionally completed by 9 AM on the day after Anant Chaturdashi, the immersion (visarjan) of Lalbaugcha Raja—one of Mumbai’s most iconic and revered Ganpati idols—took place much later than usual this year. The idol finally reached Girgaon Chowpatty and was immersed around 9 PM on Sunday, marking a delay of over 12 hours.
