Veteran Actress B Saroja Devi Dies; Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar And Others Offer Condolences
Actress B Saroja Devi passes away at the age of 87 she had acted in 200 films over seven decades. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar paid tribute to the late actress. Saroja Devi had her big break with her Kannadda film Mahakavi Kalidas made her Telegu debut with Pandurang Mahathayam and worked in several successfull films until the late 1970s. She was awarded the Padma Shru in 1969 and the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 1992.
