Gold Rate Today Falls In India

The price of 10 grams of gold was steady on May 23, staying at about Rs 74,000. 10 grams of pure 24-carat gold cost Rs 74,500, while 22-carat gold remained relatively stable at about Rs 68,290. The price of silver increased to Rs 95,900 per kilogram while the market saw a decreasing trend.

Gold futures contracts expiring on June 5, 2024, experienced modest trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on May 23, 2024, with prices moving lower. The cost of these contracts was Rs 72,562 for every 10 grams. On the MCX, silver futures contracts with a July 5, 2024 expiration date were quoted at Rs 91,175 a unit.
