Pill, Riteish Deshmukh's First TV Show, to Be Available for Streaming on the OTT Platform

Riteish Deshmukh is a versatile actor and filmmaker. He has acted in successful Bollywood films and helmed blockbuster Marathi ones. Deshmukh is broadening his horizons and venturing into the world of OTT with the Jio Cinema series Pill.

He has starred in numerous hit films like Ek Villain, Heyy Babyy, and Total Dhamaal. Following his captivating performances in movies, Deshmukh is now set to make his debut on the OTT platform.

As per the creators, "Pill" depicts an engaging narrative of morality battling immorality as a whistleblower courageously challenges the shady and unethical pharmaceutical industry.

On Saturday, the streaming platform revealed that the series debut of actor Riteish Deshmukh, "Pill," will be available on JioCinema starting July 12. The newly revealed motion poster showcases a compelling narrative about ethics and deceit, offering a peek into the intense struggle of a whistleblower against unethical behaviors in the pharmaceutical sector.

Ritiesh Deshmukh's first series will be launched on Jio Cinema as an original show. Access will be possible via a premium subscription, beginning at Rs. 29 dollars per month. The newly revealed motion poster portrays an intense narrative about ethics and dishonesty, offering a sneak peek into the challenging fight of a whistleblower against unethical practices in the pharmaceutical sector.

The film PILL, produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, will captivate audiences with its powerful portrayal of the battle between good and evil.

In terms of his professional life, Riteish Deshmukh's latest role was in the Marathi movie Ved. He will also star in Raid 2 with Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor, in addition to PILL. He is set to appear alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem in Kakuda, scheduled to premiere on Zee5 on July 12, 2024.
