India and South Africa, both undefeated, are prepared to chase glory in the T20 World Cup final

India and South Africa, who have gone undefeated for nearly a month in cricket matches in the USA and the Caribbean, will clash in the T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval on Saturday, each aiming to finally achieve glory after a long wait.

A competition that has had varying levels of quality, enjoyment, and turnout, has effectively managed to arrange a final match between the top two teams in the shortest format.

India defeated the defending champions England by 68 runs in Guyana on Thursday, while South Africa beat Afghanistan by nine wickets in Trinidad to finally reach a title game.

This marks South Africa's inaugural appearance in a senior men's final since the Champions Trophy in Bangladesh in 1998, where they defeated the West Indies. Their critics have called them 'chokers' for years, wondering how a country with numerous skilled players hasn't reached a final in 26 years.
