As the vote counting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections continues on June 4, the BJP has secured victory in 17 seats and is currently ahead in 231 seats. In the meantime, Congress secured victory in four constituencies - Jalandhar and Fatehgarh Sahib, Tura, and Gulbarga. The JD(S) has secured victory in two seats while AAP has won one seat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ahead of Congress's Ajay Rai in the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh by more than 150,000 votes. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of Congress, held a lead in the Lok Sabha seats of Wayanad in Kerala and Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav's popularity significantly increased as his Samajwadi Party reduced the dominance of the ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh. As the results were tallied, the SP was ahead on 33 seats compared to the BJP's 36 seats.
