Reliance and Tata featured on TIME's roster of the top 100 influential companies in the world for 2024.
RIL was listed in TIME's top 100 World’s Most Influential Companies of 2024 in the 'Titans' section. Reliance has made it onto the TIME list for the second time.
TIME magazine has recognized Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Tata Group as two of the World's 100 ‘Most Influential Companies’.
RIL was included in TIME's list of the 100 most influential companies of 2024 in the 'Titans' category, one of five categories that also include Leaders, Disrupters, Innovators, and Pioneers. TIME referred to Reliance as 'India's Juggernaut'.
Reliance Industries has now been featured on the TIME 100 list for the second time, being the sole Indian company to achieve this honor twice. Before this, Jio Platforms made it to the first TIME 100 Most Influential Companies List of 2021.
58 years ago, Dhirubhai Ambani established Reliance Industries as a textile and polyester company. TIME stated that currently, the expansive conglomerate is the most valuable company in India, valued at over USD 200 billion, as it has synchronized its expansion with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of a self-sufficient India.
This year marks the fourth release of the annual TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, showcasing companies that are having a remarkable influence globally.
