Shah Rukh Khan's presence changed the team: KKR players in awe of superstar's aura

KKR players were in awe of Shah Rukh Khan aura after the Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League. Shah Rukh Khan took a victory lap at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after KKR demolished SRH to reach the final of the tournament. Speaking to the IPL's official website, the KKR players revealed that they were pumped up to play the match after Shah Rukh Khan's pep talk in the dressing room. The Kolkata players put in a spirited show against Pat Cummins' side and won the match by 8 wickets.

After the match, Venkatesh Iyer told the IPL website that Shah Rukh Khan is not just a franchise owner but a mentor and an elder brother figure to several players in the team. Venkatesh said that Shah Rukh Khan's presence around the team motivated KKR to do well in the match.

"I think it speaks volumes of the man that he is. We have seen him in the big screen, mesmerising people with his aura. But to not just be an owner of a franchise, but to be an elder brother figure for us, he guides us constantly," Venkatesh Iyer told the IPL website.
