Gold and Silver rates as on 27th May 2024
MCX gold bounces back following significant losses the previous week, while silver approaches levels around Rs 92,100/kg
Both gold and silver prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Gold futures expiring on June 5, 2024, were priced at Rs 71,508 for every 10 grams on the MCX, following an increase of Rs 252 or 0.35%. Rs 71,256 was the closing price in the previous session.
At the same time, silver futures set to mature on July 5, 2024, saw an increase of Rs 1,296 or 1.43 percent, selling for Rs 91,844 per kg on the MCX, compared to the previous closing price of Rs 90,548.
The prices of gold and silver in India are influenced by various factors, one of which is the exchange rate of the rupee compared to the dollar. The trend seen in the rate of precious metals is also influenced significantly by worldwide demand.
