SENSEX AND NIFTY TODAY AS ON 28Th MAY

The major stock market indexes started Tuesday's trading session with gains.

In the initial trading session, the NSE Nifty 50 rose by 44.70 points or 0.19% to reach 22,977.15, whereas the BSE Sensex increased by 194.90 points or 0.26% to 75,585.40. The wider indexes started trading with a mixture of gains and losses. The Bank Nifty index starts the day with a rise of 109.10 points or 0.22%, closing at 49,390.90.

Indian stock market's key indicators closed down in a fluctuating trading session on May 28, with Nifty dropping below 22,900.
The Sensex dropped by 220.05 points, equivalent to 0.29 percent, to 75,170.45, while the Nifty fell by 44.30 points, equivalent to 0.19 %, to 22,888.20.

Approximately 1079 shares increased, 2272 shares decreased, and 83 shares remained the same.

Adani Ports, Power Grid Corp, Coal India, Adani Enterprises, and BPCL were among the top losers in Nifty, while Divis Laboratories, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, Grasim Industries, and Hero MotoCorp were the biggest gainers.

Oil & Gas, Capital Goods, Telecom, PSU Bank, Power, and Realty sectors have all declined by 1-2 percent.
The BSE Midcap index experienced a 0.5 percent decrease while the small-cap index dropped by 1 percent.
