Stock Market Highlights | 24th June 2024

Monday's trading session started with the benchmark equity indices in the red.

 The NSE Nifty 50 starts trading with a 0.51% decrease of 118.80 points at 23,382.30, and the BSE Sensex falls by 0.42% with a decrease of 324.25 points to 76,885.65. The wider benchmarks started trading with losses. Bank Nifty index starts trading down by 381.20 points or 0.74% and ends the session at 51,280.25.

The major stock market indexes finished Monday's trading session with gains.

The NSE Nifty 50 rose by 36.75 points or 0.16% to close at 23,537.85, as the BSE Sensex increased by 131.16 points or 0.17% to reach 77,341.08. The larger stock indexes closed with a mix of results, showing increases mainly in Large-cap and Mid-cap stocks. Bank Nifty index closed at 51,703.95, marking a 0.08% increase of 42.50 points. Automobile and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) stocks exceeded in performance compared to other sectors, while Metal and Media stocks suffered losses.
