Stock Market Highlights | Tuesday- 18th June
In Tuesday's trading session, both the Nifty 50 and Sensex ended in green, gaining 0.39% & 0.40% respectively.
On Tuesday, the Indian indices- Nifty 50 and Sensex opened in the positive territory. The Nifty 50 opened up 0.45% higher at 23,570.80, while the BSE Sensex gained 242.53 points or 0.32% to 77,235.31 in the opening trade.
The broader indices opened in positive territory. Bank Nifty index opened higher by 192.35 points or 0.38% to settle at 50,194.35.
The benchmark stock market indexes closed Tuesday's trading session with gains. The NSE Nifty 50 increased by 92.30 points or 0.39% to close at ₹23,557.90, while the BSE Sensex surged by 308.36 points or 0.40% to reach ₹77,301.14.
The broader indices ended in positive territory, with gains being led by Large-cap and Mid-cap stocks.
Bank Nifty index ended higher by 438.90 points or 0.88% to settle at 50,440.90. Realty and Banking stocks outperformed other sectoral indices while Pharma and Media stocks saw a fall in prices.
