On Thursday, the Sensex and Nifty50, which are benchmark equity indices, began trading at record highs. This rise came after global stocks performed well due to a favorable U.S. inflation report, increasing hopes for a possible interest rate decrease in the U.S.

Stock Market Highlights | Wednesday - 13th June

The Indian stock market started at an all-time high on Thursday due to significant purchasing in all sectors following positive signals from global markets. The Sensex jumped more than 500 points to surpass the 77,100 mark, while the Nifty 50 rose over half a percent to about 23,480.

The overall market helped boost the rally, with the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Small Cap 100 indices both increasing by over half a percent and reaching their highest levels ever. Bank Nifty index increased by 115 points to surpass the 50,000 level in trading.

 However, the gains were limited by the Federal Reserve's indication of only one interest rate cut this year.
Sensex started at a historic peak of 77,102.05, rose to set a new record of 77,145.46, then fell back slightly to end at 76,810.90, gaining 204.33 points, or 0.27%.

In the same way, Nifty 50 reached a new all-time high of 23,481.05 after opening at a record high of 23,480.95. By the end of trading, Nifty stood at 23,399.90, showing a gain of 75.95 points, equivalent to an increase of 0.33%.

At the same time, 10 out of the 30 stocks on the BSE Sensex ended the day with losses. Hindustan Unilever, Power Grid Corp., Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, and ICICI Bank were the main losers, while Mahindra & Mahindra, Titan, Larsen & Toubro, IndusInd Bank, and Tech Mahindra were the top performers on that day.

In the same way, 15 out of the 50 stocks on the Nifty 50 ended the day in negative territory. Hindustan Unilever, Eicher Motors, Axis Bank, Power Grid Corp., and Britannia Industries experienced the biggest declines, while Shriram Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC Life, Divi's Laboratories, and Titan saw the highest increases in value throughout the day.

The BSE SmallCap rose by 0.89% while the BSE MidCap increased by 0.79% at the close, causing the broader market to end positively.
