Silver Prices Show Marginal Gains, Reverse Trend
In today's closing update, silver prices inched up by 0.01% to 66769 INR per half-kg. In global markets, silver gained by 0.01% to $24.73 per troy ounce. The XAG/USD spot rate surged up by 0.04% to $24.602 per troy ounce. This reverses a trend where silver prices had followed gold prices for over a week. Today gold-dipped into red territory while silver stayed up in green.
Silver is slightly more bullish than gold because of inflationary pressure on the commodities supply chains. Hence investors should also be cautious on the commodity, but a lot more optimistic than its counterpart, gold.
